Email Service Interruption Tonight

Tech09

Clear Creek Communications is adding Google Apps™ suite of tools to your Internet service effective Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Google Apps is an online, Web-based package of Internet, messaging and word processing tools that include powerful email, calendar, instant messaging (IM/Chat), document management, and personal website services. Your online experience will be enhanced by increased email capacity and security. Google Apps allows you to work on documents together with friends and family with ease. Your email storage capacity will be increased to 7GB and your document and website combined storage capacity will be 1GB. Clear Creek Communications will also offer Google Postini™ Message Filtering, an enhanced spam and virus protection service.

In order to implement these changes, Clear Creek Communications will need to move existing email and settings over to the new platform. This will take some time so we have asked that you not make any changes to your email account settings from 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 21, 2011, until the morning of Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Any changes made to your email settings during this time — Contacts, Allowed Senders, folder structure, etc. — may not be saved. You can however, continue to send and receive email as always during this time.

All email should be available in Google Apps shortly following the migration. Webster WebMail contacts will automatically be migrated to Google Mail Contacts and Webster Webmail Allowed and Blocked senders will automatically be migrated to Postini.

Our Internet Technical Support team is available to assist you in setting up your mail clients or smart phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by dialing 503-631-2345. Additional information about using Google Apps and the required settings updates is also available on our website at: http://www.ccmtc.com/internet.cfm or by browsing to: http://myonlinehelp.net.

Please do not alter your mail client or smart phone settings prior to the migration. Go to http://www.ccmtc.com/internet_gg_settings.cfm for instructions for changing you email client settings on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. We hope that you enjoy using the Google Apps suite of collaboration tools.
