Is the service guaranteed?
Yes and our guarantee is simple... "If we install SecureIT Plus, we guarantee it!" If we can't fix the problem first, you will receive up to $100 to correct the security related issue. The guarantee is only available if Security Coverage installs the software for you. If you choose this Supported Remote Installation, there is a one-time $14.95 charge which will be billed on your Clear Creek Communications bill.
How many computers can I install my copy of SecureIT on?
A single SecureIT Plus license can only be installed on one computer.
Are your support specialists qualified to work on my computer if I experience issues?
Our certified support specialists average more than three years of direct computer support services and more than five years of technical expertise. Our staff includes certified Microsoft technicians who are current on all the latest technologies and issues.
How do I pay for my service?
Clear Creek Communications will bill the monthly charge and the manual installation activation charge (if applicable). If you choose to do the Supported Remote Installation, the $14.95 charge will also be billed on your Clear Creek Communications bill.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No contracts are involved; however, you must register and accept the user license agreement at the time of installation.
What if I need support at night or on the weekend?
Our computer support specialists are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. We realize that computer problems don't wait until normal business hours and we're here to help at any time.
Does SecurityCoverage have access to my computer?
Absolutely not! SecureIT services were built with your security and privacy as first priority. All the updates, scanning, and protection happen from your computer. Nothing is sent to us outside of the reporting statistics which are made fully available to you on our reporting website and through our monthly e-mail summary. If you choose the Supported Remote Installation, Security Coverage will ask you for a one-time permission to assist in the installation of the software.
Do I still have to have a separate anti-virus program?
No, the SecureIT service will provide you with everything you need to safely navigate the Internet and effectively and efficiently use your computer.
Is there anything that I need to do to keep things updated?
No, the value of this service is that it applies all updates and runs all of its various scans behind the scenes without you having to worry.
Do I have to leave my computer on all of the time?
No, if you happen to have your computer off at the time the program runs its various scanning processes and updates, they will automatically run the next time you turn your computer on.
How do I know that I am being protected?
You will receive a monthly e-mail detailing the activities that have been executed by your SecureIT software. In addition you can check the online reports anytime, which are updated every 24 hours.
