Scoreboard a Community Effort

Clear Creek Communications has teamed up with the Redland Baseball and Softball Association to bring the community of Redland a new scoreboard for the Fischers Mill baseball fields. Clear Creek Communications pledged $3 for every $1 raised, and through generous donations and fundraisers by the kids, coaches, and the community, the new scoreboard is a reality. Between Clear Creek and the community, over $4,000 was raised to purchase and install the new scoreboard that now proudly stands over the outfield, awaiting the start of the baseball and softball seasons.

It is our pleasure to acknowledge and thank Joel Matton of Matton Utilities Inc. who donated the time and materials to dig a trench in order to wire the scoreboard for power. Pro-Am Sports also gave us valuable information on locating the right vendor and assisted in the purchasing of the scoreboard.

The scoreboard now stands as a true community effort that will benefit future generations. Aaron Aab, Clear Creek’s Business Specialist and coordinator for the project, said “It has been a great experience working with the community and Redland Baseball & Softball on this project.”
