Scam Alert: Watch Out for Fake Emails Claiming To Be From Clear Creek Communications
Jul 15, 2025 | posted by Lily Chavez
We've recently learned a member has received emails posing as Clear Creek Communications. These messages are not legitimate, and they are a scam! Clear Creek would never ask you to click on a link to share your personal or payment information.
If you get an email or text message that seems off or is asking for sensitive details, don't click anything! The safest move is to delete it, report it, and simply move on.
Here are some red flags to watch out for:
❌ Unfamiliar sender addresses
❌ Urgent or threatening language
❌ Requests for passwords or payment info
❌ Odd spelling, grammar, or formatting
As a reminder, please don't share any personal or payment information online. Scammers are looking to take your valuable information, such as passwords, emails, SS, and credit card information.
We highly encourage you to:
- Keep your passwords strong, unique, and updated regularly.
- Double-check the sender's email addresses and email title.
- Look out for poor grammar and language.
- Avoid clicking on links or downloads from unknown sources.
- Trust your instincts — if something feels off, it probably is.
